uh...first attempt ever at making a page of manga with proper tones (not really proper since im a pure amateur at this). This might go into scrap soon since i wasnt very serious while drawing the lines and thinking of what is really going on in this page. Hopefully ill develop and improve in applying screentone xD.
I was too cheap to actually use my new tones with hand so i scanned them and digitally applied them in the page.
Tools: Deleter tones and inking pens ranging from 0.05-0.5 xD

Thank you xD! i have no talent at shading but i used resources in original manga to apply the screen tone x)
(i had help with the boxes: the ruler sketch at the sides of the manga papers xD )

Ooh~ I figured out how you did this~ You scanned your tones, then use that..brush, I forgot what its called. Am I right? xD Sorry about laughing at you, XD I guess I was just so happy I have a friend that knows how to use tones! *clap clap* XD

er no....lol. Theres no specific brush for this, just the layers blending effects and moving, copy and paste pics around xD! i told you, come over so i can show ya x)! <.< thanks for the laugh lol

Out of curiosity, how did you color the black hair, digitally or traditionally?

I think all of the details (like the intricacy of the hair) look very nice... for a first attempt, this is amazin'. @o@
